A Happy New Year brings a lovely update: Giant Cthulhu's have finally arrived and I am super stoked to finally have these here! All Backers that have been waiting for these to arrive will be getting theirs shipped out in the next following weeks as more boxes arrive in the mail. Thank you all for your amazing patience on this massive quest for our first plush, it's been a great learning experience for our next project. To those still waiting you will get a nice surprise in your box ^^

Also anyone who wishes to continue to support my work and happens to back any future Kickstarters will receive a thank you gift! You all have been lovely and I really do appreciate your support from the bottom of my heart!

Massive Financial Headache....

Hey everyone, sorry for the radio silence for a little bit. I'm going to be honest with you all, this has been a rollercoaster of learning curves and a massive financial headache for this project. As much as I love how this has become a real life thing, it has not been the best of journeys... As much as Kickstarter still lists this as earning almost that amazing $10k, after many card declines (including fraud accounts), last min cancelled orders and of course their fees, I only received around $7k. Definitely was unknowing the full extent that I was way undercutting myself on this whole project.
   That amount set us back to order extended goals including Lanyards, figures and of course the Giant Varent (ie now out my own pocket). So I had to pace the orders out nicely, since I personally don't like dipping out on fulfilling promises I made while the Kickstarter was active.
   Planning ahead helped to a point but with inflation sky rocketing shipping prices (ie charged shipping from you All but by the time actually shipped, prices increased between $2-$40 per package...), that bit into a lot of extended goals. Which I tried to explain a bit in past posts without getting too much into it to bore or annoy any of you. But at this point I would rather explain where I am at than expect everyone to continue to be quietly patient.

   Everything has been put off to the side in order to get these out to you all as fast as I can get them. (Without hurting myself too much financially...)  Haven't been able to do any big orders on my other merch including anything for pride month or the summer (which is kinda big as I travel every weekend to events).  The giant Variant Plush will be coming in destuffed to myself (helps cut down shipping cost) and I will be close stitching them all then sending the last shipping group out. (Please note these have not been shipped yet, so a little more patience please)
   I will be posting preorders to the Giant variants on my etsy soon. But don't worry, these will not be sent until everyone last one of you receives yours in hand. Unfortunately but also fortunately for those who did back my Kickstarter, these will be taking a huge price jump as I won't be able to afford a larger order to keep them cheaper... So there is a limited quantity of 50 for this first order (possibly last not sure). So any new preorders for the Giant Varent Cthulhus will be $125 each. Now if anyone that is still waiting for their giant Varent wants to add another (be amazing to yourself or a friend and help myself out tremendously) I will work out a deal with you to make them cheaper.

   But until then, and more than likely very soon, thank you again for waiting so long and sharing this amazing, yet stressful journey!!! There are many things I have learned in this for my next plush project that will be very much improved on and there will be more precautions taken. But for now I am definitely taking a break in massive orders, it is very stressful with just myself taking them head on... I still can't thank you all enough, I know it hasn't been easy, but I didn't just take your money and run, trust me I am working very hard to get these out I love them too much and all of your help in making it so!!! You guys are all amazing!!! As a small reminder, those who are still waiting for your orders (maybe around 10 of you) I will be sending out a thank you/sorry item with your order, just for you all being so patient as much as you can with me.
 

Again, to everyone sorry for the radio silence, I do work 2 full time jobs with 2 recent injuries setting everything back and progress a lot slower.... But please follow us on Social Media for more accurate updates on this project and hopefully some more over the summer! We are trying to post at least once or twice a month now, and now it's basically Summer, more often (our schedule becomes a lot more active for events and even our main job gets busy). You are all great and amazing for supporting a growing artist, and making my work reach so many people!!!

We're Almost Done!

Alrightly, sent out some more shipping notifications just a few days ago for more packages. We did about 40 packages this round and it took a while to do alone with a bit of last minute help taping them all closed and slapping labels on them. Just a for a little more fun and smoother process, here is some of my last set up for this packing group. (Note I have to pack everything up each time, because the cat is a train wreck, and he likes to test gravity.) This is after counting and packaging all the dice.

 We have about 30ish packages left, unfortunately due to restock issues with shirts  the last few weeks, we are using a few different sources to get them ordered and shipping those out this week. Last group will be the Giant variant plush and those included the 3D Model. Like I said a few updates ago, these were held off due to last min drops & failed payments. But didn't want to fully drop the upgrades. SOOO these will be be in Process by next month!! Updates coming hopefully by the end of this month.

Shipping Update!

Alright everyone, sorry for not updating yet this month, traveled to Chicago first week for an event to sit in the Artist Alley and this past weekend in Charlotte for our last event of the year. But we did send out a bunch of boxes at the end of November and just shipped out more last night. 

 Finally had a little help on this one, night before my Fiancé's last class this semester in Durham, we got a bunch together at my sister in-law's house. A couple more are going out Thursday, trying my best to get those that we have everything for shipped before the holiday.

 For anyone that has missed the last few updates and have not gotten an email for your package shipped yet; some stretch goal items had to be delay ordered, we lost about 20 backers after the Kickstarter ended for a variety of reasons. Multiple reminders have been sent out to those weekly/monthly with no avail... We did not wont to break promises on getting some of those items, so just delaying those was the best option without harming the main plush order earlier this year. 

Next up we are waiting for are Lanyards!!! These have been ordered and will be here hopefully next week, and those shipments should be out by the end of the year to first 2 weeks of January. Dice right after (being the 3rd most expensive order), then anyone who had Clothing added to their pledge. Also my far reached stretch goal, I have not forgotten about you, Giant variants are still happening, those are the last things I'm ordering, but you will be getting a little sorry late shipment gift from myself. I will update later on this in January.

I want to thank each and every one of you for your patience on updates and shipping these out! My fiancé is working full-time and is a full-time student, we share the same car right now, plus myself working full-time at my main job on top of working as an Entrepeneur Artist traveling to events monthly & *trying* to keep up with my online sales. I only have a day or 2 off each week and that's partially at a Coffee shop in Durham (40ish mins from home) while my Fiancé is in class for a couple hours, so I can get some work done on my laptop and/or drawing working on commissions/projects. I don't want you all to think this is me complaining, I enjoy my weekly life, it keeps me going with a decent, kind of repetitive schedule, which is going to be all different next semester. But I'm still thankful for all your support on this massive project and making it happen! I should be doing at least one more update before the end of the year, going to try 2, but if not before the Holidays I hope everyone stays nice & warm, and enjoys their time with loved ones this holiday season no matter what anyone celebrates! 

Shipping Update

Hey everyone, sorry about the slow responses, work and school picked up for us, on top of an unfortunate accident with one of us at work involving a broken hand. So I been having to help them with schoolwork on any free time. But good news: there has been a few more packages sent out! SO MANY BOXES!

Most of our boxes are now these sizes, so they take up less space, easier to ship and easier to bring to the post office/drop off stores.

Working on putting together a few more to ship out this week.  Most items should arrive within a few days after we ship out to you, as all packages are being sent first class. We have received part of our keychain order, but still waiting on one more box. Should be in the next week or 2 hopefully.  Thank you all again for being so patient with us. It's mostly just myself now as again another person is injured and even then I have to be pulled to help them now and again. 

Most order should be shipped out by December, there are a few items that had to be put on hold due to the bulk shipping cost of the plush. (We have a set amount aside for shipping to you as well, so once items are in, we immediately send out) So, if you selected Dice or the Giant Variant Plush these will be shipped out sometime after Dec. We will try our best to keep you all updated throughout the holidays, so we hope you enjoy them! We will post at least two more updates before the end of the year!
